- Significant update for one of the long-standing most successful EASY products
- More flexible configuration and scaling abilities optimize customer data management
- Improved SAP interface optimizes ILM implementation
In February 2020, EASY SOFTWARE releases the latest version of the enterprise content management platform EASY Archive 7, which is one of the most longstanding products in the EASY portfolio and is considered the cornerstone of the company’s long and successful history. With fast performance, a wide array of functions and high security, EASY Archive as a market leader established the standard for electronic archive systems in Europe.
The latest update EASY Archive 7 grants customers even faster benefits due to a very simple installation process. The average rollout at the customer’s site takes only a few minutes. In use, the modular structure of EASY Archive 7 improves the operation of connected systems within the customer’s IT infrastructure. Another core feature of the new update is the more flexible archive management for administrators, even in complex environments.
A major focus of EASY Archive 7 is to support possible scaling options via simple and adaptable distribution of programs and data. The archive enables the use of program containers (docker concept); in doing so, customers can, for example, intercept possible maintenance downtimes of one server through another server.
EASY for SAP Archiving 7
As part of the update, EASY Archive 7 is connected to SAP systems via EASY for SAP Archiving 7. This integration solution has been adapted to the new features of EASY Archive 7 and provides a further development of the Information Lifecycle Management implementation. In this way, EASY guarantees the customer the highest possible degree of flexibility in configuring the systems.
EASY Archive 7 will be delivered to customers as a native installation package for Windows or Linux starting February 2020.
